The technician, Alfred Lax, did an excellent job in diagnosing the problem and in the repair work. However I have learned that Rotor-Rooter charges are not competitive with other ... similar company charges. (e.g. we received coupons in the mail from Rooter Hero Plumbing which were significantly lower than the Roto-Rooter charges for similar services.

Roto Rooter sent camera technician to inspect residential main sewer just cleaned per customer request to cleaning technician after he could not warranty the cleaning job for the 6 months ... per Roto Rooter policy. When camera tech arrived quoted $300 for the service, but I asked him about inspection to provide the warranty that if the line had no faults, there should be no charge. He contacted his office and they agreed there would be no charge. This was a fair decision so he was instructed to proceed to inspect the line. There was a fault that needed correction so the charge was applicable. The camera service was professionally performed and competent and I gladly paid the service charge. Kudos to Roto Rooter for a job well done so far.
