While Black Friday may be a hectic day for most retailers, it is also the biggest day of the year for plumbers. Julie Collins takes you along for the ride as they work to dig out what's clogging up the sink. This is not a typical day for Kent Climan. He and a team of 11 other plumbers are on the go. Answering calls about Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen sink. "After 22 years of doing this, you can pretty much almost assume that the day after Thanksgiving, you're gonna get a lot of kitchen sinks." Kristen and Eric Hanson made that mistake. "Yeah, it was my fault." Instead of throwing the potato peels in the trash, they went down the disposal. "Potato peels are probably the number one culprit." And that's a recipe for plumbing problems. "Nothin' I can't fix, that's for sure." This was the first time the Hansons hosted Thanksgiving. "All the dinner turned out fine, but the sink backed up right in the middle of cooking dinner." The dirty dishes still piled up. "I was just like, 'Oh gosh!' Okay, this is happening, I don't really know what else to do.'" This was supposed to be Kent's day off. "As long as the work is there, you might as well take it." The Hansons are grateful. In Waukesha, Julie Collins Fox 6 News. Roto-Rooter says on a normal day, it unclogs 2 or 3 sinks. But today, workers had more than 40 calls for service in just 3 hours.
