I called Dennis and ... he came back within an hour and fixed that. He also got Lee Cook, a water specialist who came and explained about the next problem of water damage- he gave me intelligent information as to what my next steps must be, no hard sell. I am almost 73 yrs old and, without exception, I have never had a better customer service experience than with Roto-Rooter! I was overwhelmed and had no idea why ... water was gushing uncontrollably from my downstairs bath into the rest of my house. Roto-Rooter responded immediately (within less than 45 minutes) and took control diagnosing a main sewer line backup. Andrew and Daniel explained everything that was happening and reassured me that everything would be ok. They helped me know what to expect and were there when I contacted my insurance company. I was so relieved at how professional and competent they were, also how comforting to me. The next day Kris was there early to video the sewerline problem that caused the flooding. Same day, Tim and Theo worked tirelessly from 10:30am to 8:30pm to mitigate the damages. I felt like I had a team of scientists working here because they were so knowledgeable. They explained everything as they went along and were so careful with handling my furniture and acessories. I am amazed at how quickly they took control and managed this horrible situation. Call them with a busted pipe and they were there within an hour. Had it fixed within 2 hours and stopped all the water from continuing to flood the floor. ... Was very helpful with what should happen next to get things fixed. SOOO Appreciated because I had no idea how to handle it.

There was a blockage in our underground drain which received water from the downspout/gutter. A root had grown into the plastic flexible pipe and gathered debris over a period ... of time, thus causing our gutters to overflow. RotoRooter arrived on time at the designated hour and with some difficulty, was able to blow out the blockage and return our drainage flow completely.

Jamie was very nice and did a great job. He needed a longer snake and drove to get it. There was no clog, but he determined that the problem was ... that the drain pipe had been capped off in the catch basin outside making it impossible for the water from the air conditioner to drain properly. The fact that the basement was flooded and had filled the pipe caused the water from the a/c to overflow and spill into the floor. He cut the pipe enough to allow the water to flow and my problem was solved.
