• Aerating shower heads – Aerating models mix air in with water, which means less water is used. Aerating shower heads create less humidity and use less water than standard shower heads, which is ideal in humid areas or locations without much water. However, the aeration does cool the water, making an aerating shower head not an ideal option for those that like very hot showers. Aerating showerheads can also be more expensive than other models, but they can help pay for themselves in places where you pay for water.
